  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Concordia University (Montreal, QC)
  • Began career at Nesbitt Burns in 1992. From 1997-2000, was top 1% producing broker at Merrill Lynch
  • In 2000, founded WTS Trading, educating and employing traders who used electronic market access. In 2011 WTS became the largest trading firm in the world
  • Former Chairman and Founder of Clearpool Group (leading Wall Street execution firm,executed 3% of total U.S. Equities market volume- Sold to Bank of Montreal)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Finance, Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ
  • Began in the financial industry since 1997 focused globally on market structure, portfolio, risk, and execution systems management as well as general business operations.
  • John's core competencies include investment strategy sourcing and due diligence, structuring investment allocations, systems integration, risk analysis and enforcement and creating, implementing, and maintaining processes and procedures for accountability across all business activities.

Owen Welsh

Head of Operations

  • Headed up Operations and Business Development at AX Trading, a Broker Dealer ATS, from 2017 to 2019
  • Created compliant workflows in concert with FINRA compliance team to amend the Firm's licensing to trade private placement digital asset securities in the secondary market.
  • Currently heads Operations at Digital ECN, where he leads daily onboarding and settlement operations.

Josh Abel

Chief Financial Officer

  • BS Accounting, MS Finance - University of Colorado
  • Josh has over fifteen years of corporate finance leadership experience with public, private, and PE backed companies.
  • From 2014 to 2021 Josh, as CFO, helped scale a small Colorado residential service provider into an international company with offices in the US, Canada, and UK. He was instrumental in designing and implementing their ways of working and enabling technologies, which attracted a 2018 minority investment and subsequent 2020 full acquisition by Swedish retailer IKEA.

Marshall Ackman

  • In 2012, started his Finance career on the Equities floor of WTS Trading.
  • In the following years, went on to hold several key positions in the sales and marketing teams at WTS trading.
  • Developed processes and systems for lead generation and sales in Financial Industry Businesses. Currently, Marshall leads business development at GO Digital.

Anton Katz

Founder & CEO

As CEO of Talos, Anton Katz is responsible for leading the firm’s overall operations and driving its strategic initiatives. Prior to co-founding Talos, Mr. Katz served as Head of Trading Technology for AQR Capital Management, one of the world’s most prominent quantitative investment firms. Prior to that he spent six years at Broadway Technology, most recently serving as Director of Software, where he led trading technology development projects for dozens of leading banks, asset managers and vendors. He began his technology career at Microsoft.

Ethan Feldman

Founder & CEO

As CTO of Talos, Ethan Feldman is responsible for leading the firm’s global technology organization. Prior to co-founding Talos, Mr. Feldman spent ten years at Broadway Technology, where he worked alongside Talos co-founder Anton Katz. While at Broadway, he developed technology for dozens of leading banks, asset managers and vendors. He began his technology career at Microsoft. Mr. Feldman holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Computer Science from Cornell University.

Jennifer Hill

Over the course of her career, Jennifer Hill has served in a wide range of financial management and executive leadership positions at some of the world’s largest financial institutions. As CEO of Murphy Hill Consulting, Ms. Hill serves on the boards of multiple firms, including Santander Asset Management, Melqart Asset Management and Arkadia Asset Management.

Dave has been a pioneer in markets and trading across the span of his career. In his roles in brokerage (ITG Inc. and Lehman Brothers) and asset management (Wellington Management, Inference Group, and Pine Grove Capital), he was primarily responsible for the conception and commercialization of what are today staple applications and business processes across financial markets services.
